As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will identify, source, and close prospects who are a good fit for our platform. We are looking for someone to help us build an outbound strategy; it's an exciting time to join with lots of opportunities to take initiative and ownership as we enter our next phase of growth! This role will not be 100% outbound and will include demoing to and closing some inbound leads. Many new deals will be transactional, but our long-term accounts will require consultative selling skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build lead generation campaigns by gathering lead information from various sources in order to build target lists for prospecting activities
  • Document and maintain all activity within our Hubspot CRM to track activity, measure results, and ensure data integrity
  • Demo Gatherly's software to some inbound leads
  • Identify and source personas who are good fits for our platform
  • Expand existing accounts by helping existing customers succeed
  • Build meaningful, mutual relationships with loyal customers
  • Close deals with new and existing customers at or above quota

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of full-time experience as a business development rep (BDR)
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working with CRMs; HubSpot not required, but is a plus
  • SaaS startup experience is a plus
  • Experience with events is a plus
